Winter Monthly Yin Workshop

3 hour Yin Yoga workshop that explores the mindful nature of the Yin Yoga practice.

Double Series Pass (6 workshops) — $275 + HST
Single Series Pass (3 workshops) — $138 + HST
Individual workshops: $52 + HST

Yin-formation

The Monthly Yin Yoga Workshops are created to deepen our understanding of the nature of this yoga practice. Whether you decide to join in on one workshop or all we will utilize our time together to explore a sequence of poses to enliven the energetic body. Each monthly Yin Workshop will offer us the opportunity to explore our bodies, tune in and practice mindfulness. We will create space to fully inhabit our physical body, connect with our breath and sit back and become better acquainted with our thoughts. We will essentially be anchoring our awareness in the present moment.

Our Yin Yoga practice will facilitate the time and space needed to reveal our essential nature. It takes practice to cultivate a willingness to remain open to the emotional states which will inevitably arise. As we develop the ability to sit with what is arising, we gain insights into our habitual, well groomed conditioned responses. In this series of workshops, the goal is to strengthen our powers of observation and concentration through practice, and to plant the seeds for formal seated meditation practice. Above all, this yoga practice, invites us inward to connect with the tensions that need our attention. Our tensions are the doors inward to self, to love, so come on in by practicing Yin Yoga.
