THE INSTRUCTOR

Lee Anne Nowell is the Director of Transformations Yoga & Pilates Studio

Lee Anne has a reputation as a generous, caring & compassionate teacher. As a certified Yoga Instructor, Lee Anne has studied with a variety of teachers through a broad spectrum of disciplines & has an education & experienced background in personal training & group fitness specializing in Yoga (various styles), Pilates, Rebounding, Pre & Post Natal Fitness.

HOME AND GEAR STUDIO

Compliment and enhance your practice with our professional gear.
Yoga and Pilates mats with bags to carry them in, blocks, straps, blankets, eye pillows, stability balls, flex bands, bolsters, candles, books, videos, music and a variety of clothing all to suit your needs.

OUR STUDIO

Our Studio is fully propped with mats, blankets, blocks, straps, bolsters, stability balls and an inviting atmosphere. Soon we will have a small library collection of books, magazines and such for you to sign out and borrow.

Beginners are welcome.

Modifications are always provided to suit your needs. Continuing levels are for those who wish to experience a more dynamic and challenging session. Class sessions are on-going as per schedule and operate as a drop-in style. Few sessions require pre-registration.

YOGA

Many of our yoga classes are instructed with a vinyasa or flowing style, incorporating an electric mix of Hatha yoga, influenced from various teaching philosophies. Experience the integration of breathing and mindfulness. Awaken your conscious mind to the present moment. Yoga practice can increase flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, keep spine flexible, massage internal organs and improve your ability to eliminate toxins, improve posture, decrease stress, increase energy and reconnect you to your spiritual well being.

PILATES

Pilates is another wonderful mindful method to choose to stay fit and healthy. The Pilates approach entails a series of stretching and resistance training exercises with a focus on breathing and body awareness that leads to core stability and leaner muscles. This unique system of stretching and strengthening, tones and elongates muscles, flattens abdominals, improves body mechanics, alleviates stress and tension, isolates, activates and conditions deep muscles.
